Reference

Upper and lower case

Most comparisons are case-sensitive: Steel and steel are different values. The places that are not:

  • If Then Else conditions
  • Move to Workset name matching
  • Family Name and Type Name filters on Revit 2023 and later (on 2021–2022 they are case-sensitive)

Everything else — Map Values keys, Find & Replace, parameter-value filters — treats case as part of the value.

See also: Map Values finds no row · A filter selects different elements on another Revit version.
