Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Base Point Labs collects through this website (basepointlabs.io) and through the FlexiData Revit plugin, why we collect it, and how it is handled. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and the product.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Analytics runs under Google Consent Mode with all storage denied by default. No analytics cookie is set until you explicitly accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics or advertising storage is used.

• No advertising, remarketing, or cross-site tracking.
• You can change your choice anytime by clearing this site’s data.
• Analytics data is processed by Google on our behalf and is not sold or shared with other third parties.

If you join the early-access list, we collect the email address and name you enter, plus the optional country, role, and company size. Submissions are stored in a private Google Sheet via Google Apps Script.

• We use this only to email you the FlexiData launch announcement and closely related early-access updates.
• We do not sell this data or use it for third-party advertising.
• Ask us to remove your details at any time using the contact below.

FlexiData reads parameters from your active Revit document and writes them back locally. It does not upload model content, family content, drawings, or any of your output anywhere.

Network endpoints the plugin contacts

• Licence-key validation, once, during activation.
• An optional once-per-day version-check ping, which is opt-in and can be disabled in the in-app Legal panel.

Files the plugin writes locally

• Run logs under %LOCALAPPDATA%\BasePointLabs\FlexiData\logs\.
• Any configuration (.fdc) files you choose to save, at the location you pick.

We retain early-access details until launch is complete or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Under the GDPR and similar laws you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Email us and we will action it promptly.
